What's on your menu Sunday, April 28, to Saturday, May 4, 2019?

Going to run some errands with DD. So I may hit a store and pick something up to make for dinner.

Made corn relish yesterday and had it on some toasted baguette rounds topped with port wine cheese, some leftover squash, and a leftover stuffed tomato:

The recipe made about twice as much shown, little left in the container below.

I'm planning shrimp paesano for tonight...butter nightmare, but I'm still gonna do it :).

I made City Chicken for DIL's birthday wish.
Candied sweet potatoes, and applesauce on my plate.
Peas for a veggie.

Went food shopping this morning.

Lunch was rotisserie chicken, Deli sesame noodle salad with snap peas, red pepper strips and spicy peanut dressing, bowtie pasta with tomato, feta cheese, spinach and I am unsure what dressing but it was a bit dry.

Sass, the tortilla chips in your nachos look incredible! How'd you do them? Fried in oil?

I would have been happy with those chips, salted, and a beer!

Angle hair with meat sauce. ( ground beef )

Shepherds Pie.

And a vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream icing.

The kids came over, and we sang happy birthday ( today's official day ) of DIL's birth. 48 y/o.

That's a tiny dessert plate. When I edit/crop my pictures they look bigger like a close up. I didn't eat much of the salads or the chicken. Most of it is in a container to be a snack ... maybe.

Nice dinner Lucky. I would call that an antipasto.
