Thursday 1/19/2012 What's on the menu today?

🌹 Still trying to get it right.
I don't really have a solid plan yet. I have gotten some input. So at the moment the menu may be one of these corn and bacon waffles or french toast and bacon or bacon and eggs. OR then again it could be tuna salad sammies and salad or salad with tuna and hard boiled eggs on top. LOL I will decide what I want to make later.

Any plans?

Not sure yet but probably chili or hamburger vegetable soup to go with that Italian bread I made yesterday. I've been wanting chili ever since Buzz posted that pic of his the other day and then Bams just had to post his hamburger stew yesterday and got my mouth watering so now I'm torn.:lol:

I get a kick out of when "My Mouth is Watering' or ,"I'm drooling looking at someones food pics!" L O L

This forum needs a imoticon character of a drooling / dripping face!

It's the truth though! Like the other day...I was looking at Bams hamburger stew, and I'm sitting here thinking about it, and my dry mouth suddenly was wet with salivation. hahahahaha.

I'll never forget as kids, riding in the back seat of the car, and we would say to my mom," Ma, we're thirsty!" ..... she would say. "Swallow your spit!"..or if we would say "we're hungry", she'd say.."Chew Your Tongue!" L O L ...what a riot!

We had french toast and bacon. No pics again because I have many things on my mind and just forgot. Sorry
 
Bams, that really does look good!

I made taco fixings and decided to crumble the shells on my plate and eat it deconstructed.

i have yet to cook my city chix. spent 2 nites coloring my hair & being lazy in the kitchen.. i'm really hungry. busy day today, tho i'll make that soon.

It is so much my favorite part.... I'm ready for some toast with oodles of butter..

(Like to bite the butter; so not too soft) and a cup (or two) of nice Hot dark chocolate. L...O....L

Ooops!... my edit.. Forgot to mention..
I use swiss miss chocolate in the bag. I add it to the hot water, and then just give it a one turn mix. Why??
because I love the surprise little lumps of powder that don't get mixed. It's like a sweet and cocoa sensation.

I want them now! Ooooo! they are sooo good!
We eat ours with apple sauce.

Those lima's and diced matoes look great. I love lima's, but never thought of adding tomatoes to them.

Natch on the Xtra Gravy! Great Job!

I would do without bread for a week...to have city chix like that!!
And I love bread more than I love food! .???????

mama, there's exras in the fridge! they're as good fridged as fresh! & u gotta have that extra gravy, i say!

jimmy, yeah, i made 'em. (they were pre-cut, though. i just trimmed them/skewered 'em/breaded them). they were indeed crispy-crunchy. i used flour/egg/then saltines that i smushed to smithereens. i've toyed w/ the limas/tomato/garlic in my mind for awhile now.
 
well, u & mama pick a day & time & i'll make this all over again. jimmy, u hafta bring me a glazed donut, tho, hehe!~
 
Busy day for me and DW, with working late for me, snow and crazy traffic for her, so I picked up (GASP!) Burger Rat swill for dinner. It was actually pretty good. Just wonder what it's going to do to my blood work this morning for my annual checkup. Been fasting since 9 pm, so maybe it will still turn out OK (Just who do I think I'm kidding???:twak:). :laugh::laugh:
