After the funeral this morning we drove to Newport on the Oregon coast. We stopped at restaurant / fish shop and the gal there sent us to the Oregon Oyster Farm where we had several shooters and bought two pints of oysters. These oysters are the mildest, sweetest oysters we ever had. It must be that they are farmed on a brackish river. Tonight we shared a pint and that was our dinner.
