Where do you get your wood for smoking?

I'm not a fan of corned beef, but I had pastrami once and liked it. Maybe it was the whole sandwich "experience" I liked, but it was a darn good sandwich. The soaking or smoking must kill some of that corned beef taste I don't like.

Geez, Chow, go down to your supermarket and get a whole pound (for YOU) of fatty pastrami, steam it, slap it in a bun with mustard, and come back and tell us what you thought!

Pastrami does not taste corned beef-ish at all!
