What have you eaten NCT, Sunday, 3/11/18, to Saturday, 3/17/18?

I still feel crappy (bad cough is hanging on but fever broke). Trouble sleeping due to cough. So I’ve had simple food for a few days.

Last night DD got Chinese take out - Chicken Almond Ding and Pork fried rice. Hit the spot.

No clue for tonight.
 
Thursday night, we had a fried fest, fried cod with roasted garlic tartar sauce, french fries, and hushpuppies. Wow all that fried food really fills you up fast and keeps you filling full for hours. I did find room for a piece of my Key Lime meringue pie several hours later though.

Lunch was tuna melts.
Dinner may very well be vegetarian "beef" style dogs and rice or noodles.
Went to the health food store (hadn't been in there for almost 20 years!) and found them as well as some other goodies.
 
Thin sirloin steak cooked on CI stove top grill pan, Knorr stroganoff side dish and frozen sweet peas.
 
Homemade pizza on the grill.

Margherita
Guanciale with leeks, ricotta and moz
Pepperoni
Italian sausage with onion, green and red bell peppers

Well, it's nothing fancy, but I made veggie dogs with cheesy pasta shells.
I'll have a little Breyer's waffle cone ice cream later.

Thanks ladies. Craig and I have different tastes in pizza. He'll eat any of the 4. I'll only eat the top 2 and very rarely a piece of pepperoni.

Golden Dipt Tempura batter. :yum: I have made tempura batter with rice flour before, but we like the GD and it's so easy to open up the box.

That other one too, but the brand name escapes me.
I'm not crazy about pepperoni on pizza either.
 
Taco Soup, off Sass's recipe....

Changes;
Rinsed only the Black Beans (Squid Ink ! - Ugh!)
Doubled the Black Beans
Doubled the Broth
Added sliced baby Bells
Added Rough-Chopped Vidalia, a big one....
Decided, after consumption, that a dollop of Sour Cream would've been nice...

The only cheese I had in-house was American, Swiss and Mozzarella, so I skipped that...... will shop today, and do the cheese next time (Four pints for the freezer...)

being in that 'piddle kept me to their menu, & then they ley me be on my way--- i began to figure, in someplace, somehow, it's still beef/cabbage 4 ppl-- began w/ beef sausage & kraut, (then my pal brought me corned beef & 1 slice of that -i'd said so-- flu got to my belly) & cabbage-- so i got both into me, albeit 3/18; likely is/was 3/17, elsewhere, then; so that was my 3/17 dining-- cannot tell a hospital that, they've that menu-- so u make due-- they let me leave, & i'm not sure if i'd said i'd gotten put there, they would have let food be brought to me-- flu can get to u so fast-- my Mom says i got incoherent-- got better, tho-- & my beef & cabbage-- & adult beverage, as well--
