LOL! Paula was the first person I'd ever seen topping a burger with a fried egg, long before it appeared on every menu. I loved the concept!

BTW, I've never had a burger topped with an egg, but I will someday.

There's a local restaurant chain here called First Watch. Just breakfast and lunch. They've had it on their menu as far back as I can remember

In the 1980s I actually had the opportunity to take classes from her. She was the most delightful person! And no matter what you made and how you made it, she acted like it was the best.

By the way,she always said the her favorite food was a good hamburger.
