Wheat Montana Flour

Washington is a big wheat growing state as well as Montana and most western states.
We’ve seen this flour in stores and will give it a try for our baking. I’m not sure it is a hard
flour for bread baking, though. Nancy did get King Arthur Bread Flour for today‘s rye bread.

Today Nancy baked this sourdough einkorn loaf. She didn’t think it was good and crust is crispy hard - I had a small slice and loved it. It took me back to the bread flavours we got in Germany. The einkorn taste has a lingering affect and sour flavour is strong. I can’t wait to have more with dinner.
