What's on your Reading list?

Dick Van Dyke's "My Lucky Life In And Out Of Show Business"..
I have that one waiting on the list for me at the library.. but they have also put me on the list for interlibrary loan.
I saw him and Mary Tyler Moore on Rachel Ray's morning show a couple of days ago.
SWEET to see them together again, and I can't wait to read his memoir.

- that Steven Tyler book was a pretty enjoyable read- but not exactly what I'd expected as an Aerosmith fan.
Oh well.

I'm reading Medusa by Clive Cussler. I'm over half way through and find it a truly enjoyable read.

Clive Cussler is one of my guilty pleasures, Doc. My late friend John introduced me to his books. Sometimes its fun to read something that is pure adventure, and you know that the good guys will win.

:bump:
I just picked up John Grisham's The Litigators. Can't wait to get started!
I picked up that one also a week or so ago. I read part of it while on vacation last week. I love most of Grisham's novels, this one included. A good one for sure.

My wife picked up 50 shades of grey.

finally ordered 'the help' & a new copy of 'the catcher in the rye.' waiting on thier arrival.

hmmm......i dont know whats on my reading list...oh heres a couple:
why do lobsters turn red when you cook them?

HOLES

Alot of gaming magazines

odd fact books

and my life in france

I think you're going to really like The Help, luvs. If you haven't already, don't watch the movie first.

I read the reviews for 50 Shades of Grey, sounds veddy interesting :whistling:

I was in SAM's club when I bought the John Grisham's The Litigators, and I also bought a couple others CHEAPER than I could buy the kindle version of the same book. Crazy that amazon wants 9.99 for the kindle version and I could buy the paperback for over 3 bucks less. :pat: :bonk:

I much prefer reading on the kindle but price is a big consideration. If they are going to price the electronic version of the books higher than the paperback version can be bought elsewhere, I'll go paperback every time. Of course on Amazon the paperback version of the book was more than the electronic version, it was 15.99. Amazon, I am truly disappointed in you. Used to be you were competitive.

doc, have yinz got a 'half-priced books' there~
u can get new & used books of any type & they're pretty vast. the price on a new book drops from say, $24 to like $6.50.
i've gotten $1 used books.

cooksie, i think so, too. many great reviews on that book. i won't see a movie before reading the book, if i see it at all.- w/ the exception of girl, interrupted. & the movie was actually way better than the book for once.
