Going to be hot again today 90s. Not sure what dinner will be. If we can get the grill to work (I think we may need a new one) we may do hot dogs and burgers.

Made braciole for the first time yesterday, from the Cook's Ilustrated magazine recipe. Followed exactly.

I was not impressed. The meat (flank steak) fell apart in shreds, the filling disappeared, and the sauce was too loose.

Looks good. Sorry you were disappointed. Next time try my recipe. True beef braciole isn’t made with flank steak. You need to use thin round steaks. I posted my recipe. If you want I can find the link and paste it or bump it for you.

Went food shopping. It’s really hot. Hub and I had store kitchen fried chicken, potato salad and watermelon for lunch (brunch for me).

I stopped at Trader Joe’s also and got dried cherries, Brie and ciabatta bread.
Got pepperoni, sopressato, wine cheese spread and baby bell Gouda from supermarket. That may be my dinner. There is burger meat, dogs, brats, bocca burgers, buns, potato salad, sauerkraut and beans for everyone to choose from.

I finally found a DiGiorno croissant crust pizza.
Don't know why that particular variety is so hard to come by.
So I'll have that with a salad.
Leftover stir fry for lunch..

As far as frozen store pizzas go, this one has me sold!
I got the four cheese variety- (mozz, parm, asiago and romano).
The crust is flaky, heavenly and buttery just as the reviews said.
It suggests you place it directly on the oven rack. No way. Lol
It turned out wonderfully.
Simple salad on the side.

Ah, I am a fan of Digiono, but have not had the croissant crust. Glad you liked it, Sass!

I always put frozen pizza directly on the oven rack. Never a prob.

They make a pizzeria style that’s also kicks butt. A sweeter crust, love it.

Caribbean jerk chicken sub for me.
