I need another easy meal so....we're having Fish Sticks and Popcorn Shrimp with tartar sauce and Cocktail sauce. Also, I'm making spinach and tomato salad...with a lemon salad dressing and I'll likely throw some Feta on mine and Bleu cheese on DH's.

From the cookbook The Magic of Tinned Fish by Chris McDade, Fusilli with Sardines, Nduja, and Pecorino. It was easy to make and we had it with fresh Italian bread and butter. Very tasty. I think it would have benefited from a side salad. Next time!

Made it to Joplin today. Besides the fish &. Chips, he had a few Pasty’s. Frozen.
I bought a Pizza stuffed one. His Fish & Chips are fantastic.

It will be sirloin steaks for DD and me. Tina will make a shepherds pie cause she does not tolerate any beef unless it's ground 3 times. Tina has an banana cake in the oven as I write....

Decided to buy a lemon pepper rotisserie chicken while shopping today, also deli mustard potato salad and watermelon.
Nice on such a warm, sunny day.

Had a DiGiornio's individual pizza, doctored with a bit of olive oil, fresh and dried herbs. Really good! I could have done without the cheese-stuffed edge crust, but otherwise, delicious!

Had a slice of the mini-cheesecake that my friends brought.

I think I've eaten, and drank, more calories in this past week than I've had all year!

Nancy made this anti inflammatory Mexican hot dish yesterday for tonight’s supper - Butternut squash, black bean enchilada skillet bake. I’ll put it in oven while she is out looking at an art gallery with JA this afternoon.

We're going to a Pot-Luck BBQ birthday party for neighbors across the street. They will be doing a whole pig in the backyard. We're bringing Saucy Baked Beans. There will be lots of food and then cake!

We did a B&B in Sunnyside and ate in a Mexican place in a motel parking lot. Place looked dodgy but food was excellent.

I had a lot of chicken clinging to the rotisserie bird, so I de-boned it, shredded and threw it in the crock-pot with chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, onion, carrot, celery, wide noodles and just about every seasoning or herb I have and will let it cook on low.
I'll have about 4 servings for lunches or dinner this next week.

I didn't have the Beefy Onion soup mix - I just cut up some onion and added beef broth. Took John's idea of topping with bacon (good call!). Delicious!
