You are correct.BLT on toasted seeded rye, with cherry-smoked bacon, heirloom tomato, red leaf lettuce.
Each element was excellent, but as much as I love this toasted seeded rye, I really believe that BLT's are meant to be on white toast.

YES ! ! ! ... There is a bread for every meal, and a meal for every bread.... Like yesterday, We had fried cabbage fried with bow tie pasta. I asked Tina to cut the cabbage in 1 inch size; because I like to have something to chew in my mouth, and Not a fine shred of cud to chew on. Same thing with liverwurst, like she will eat that with white American bread as opposed to Rye seeded or at least plain rye bread. I just sit there and just look at her eat that, and tongue sounds of tsk tsk tsk, and shaking my head slightly in the no no no motion. You can tell Nancy, congrats on getting her wish for cut up small pieces of her soup. Tina leaves her soup all whole. then, I spill the big chunks trying to get it on the spoon. I mean, could you imagine me stuffing a whole carrot in my mouth? So, I'm with Nancy in that respect.... My Motto is, ( "Don't Mess with my food")We had chicken vegetable rice soup. I didn’t get a picture but will with the leftovers. I diced all the veg tiny per her request.
And my wife likes to break the spaghetti in half….YES ! ! ! ... There is a bread for every meal, and a meal for every bread.... Like yesterday, We had fried cabbage fried with bow tie pasta. And DON'T ever cut my spaghetti in half....
Put the unused cilantro in a Ziploc bag. Place in freezer. When frozen rub the bag to crush the leaves, pull out stems and you have instant chopped cilantro. I do that with fresh basil, oregano, and parsley. I always have herbs for a quick addition to recipes.I throw a lot of cilantro away. Which sucks. Because I do keep it on hand regularly but tend not to use it all. I tried to grow it a few times but it turned spindly and went to seed quickly. Yeah. It's delicious though. My oldest brother hates it.

I grow it from time to time. In hydroponic gardens. But, I do that more in the winter.I throw a lot of cilantro away. Which sucks. Because I do keep it on hand regularly but tend not to use it all. Oh Yeah!!... I could write a book. Bigger than a data center for AILOL, Jimmy!
Might you have any quirks that Tina would find annoying?

I have grown them from pre-seeded...but no, now I don't. Cilantro can be stubborn. Mostly, I'll use a Seed Starter Tray in a Harvest machine. Once they germinate, I'll move them to a new home in a Bounty or Farm machine...the ones that don't germinate don't get the new homeReally? I have tried to grow it in my Aerogarden but the seeds have never germinated. I've even taken off the outer shells of the seeds, wrapped the insides in a damp paper towel, put them in a dark spot .... nothing.
Do you have pre-seeded pods for cilantro, Ginny?

. That said...I soak the sponges for 24 hours before adding seeds. I will "plant" about 3 seeds in each sponge. Some things that I grow, I'll pinch off extra sprouts, some things I don't. Even if I don't use the Seed Starter tray, I do NOT use the plant food until they germinate and first feeding will be 1/2 dose. I'll use some hydrogen peroxide in the water, to discourage algae and mold. I'm also picky about where I get my seeds.Well, start writing! I guarantee you that we will find it entertaining!!Oh Yeah!!... I could write a book. Bigger than a data center for AI
It has been a trying day...so I'm planning Nachos for dinner. Store-bought "restaurant" (low salt) tortilla chips, homemade refried beans, chopped tomatoes and green chilies and huge amounts of shredded cheddar and jack cheeses. Served with salsa, guacamole and sour cream. Wish I had some cilantro or green onions. Oh, well.

I'm with you on that, but when I make spaghetti and angel hair or other long noodles, I have to break it into thirds for my husband. Its easier to just make it all the same way. Id rather have it long, but we make concessions for those we love, don't we?And DON'T ever cut my spaghetti in half....
Have you ever tried "Fideo Cut Spaghetti"? DH & I both love spaghetti. With meat sauce or meatballs or any number of other "sauces"...but when DH had tongue surgery, I had to get creative with meals for him. I found Fideo...a thin type of spaghetti that starts out about an inch long. It worked for him...and he was able to enjoy pasta again.I'm with you on that, but when I make spaghetti and angel hair or other long noodles, I have to break it into thirds for my husband. Tonight is a cold supper of potato salade and chicken salade sandwiches, pickles on the side.
