Our friend’s Dave and Bess are having their 50th Wedding Anniversary party today and there will be lots of food.
Bess’s nephew works at Krispie Cream and brought two boxes which were a hit.

Dave’s son grilled rubbed chicken strips and baby back ribs with a pellet smoker and were excellent.

One guy brought pickled quail eggs that were a hit, as well.

The guy that brought the pickled quail eggs told me how he did them and easy enough.

Dave’s son in law brought a cheese cake pie topped with a fresh strawberry pie filling that was to die for, and from scratch biscuit like cup cakes topped with strawberries and cream cheese like topping which I took no pictures.

This is pretty good !
I love Caesar salad and used the ready-made kit from the store and blended the dressing with the shredded cheese before adding it.
It's good with the pork rinds, but next time I'll buy plain ones. These were very strong with the vinegar 🤪 and 0 carbs.

I tossed the croutons from the salad kit, and have a bunch of romaine left in the bag.

I made another flatbread because it’s easy. We’re leaving for 8 days on Friday and I’m trying to use up things that won’t keep.

Fontina, spinach, grilled onion, fresh corn, shrimp. Drizzled with Thai sweet chili sauce. View attachment 83847
I can't wait until you get moved across the pond and settled in Ireland
I'm looking forward to what you'll be cooking over there.
The grocery stores in the UK are marvelous.
I highly recommend Marks and Spencer, Lidl and Tesco.

I oven-roasted half a rack of spares that were marinated and basted with Asian marinade. Served with a mixture of 2 bags of Birds Eye vegs, a bag of edamame, and half a bag of mini pork and leek potstickers in an Asian sauce.

Pretty good! The oven ribs turned out great!
