What's On The Plates ❓️ Sunday March 8 - Saturday 14 2026

I believe this is possibly the best salmon I've made in a while.
Pan fried in olive oil and butter, with a lid, occasionally basting and allowing a slight crust to form.

I'm going to make some kind of ground beef kabobs. We'll have some red potatoes and zucchini too. The potatoes will likely be boiled and the zuke oven roasted. Dill will be a common theme with the meal, as I have an abundance of fresh dill to use. Jalapenos are coming in good too, so I made some salsa...but that will be saved for eggs in the morning. DH isn't up to chips yet.

Excellent dinner. Sadly, the dill was not too kind to DH ...but he muddled thru. He insisted on having some of the new salsa and love it too.

Friends talked me into buying some chili crisp. I find that I really love it. Tonight, I used some in a dish for roasted chicken along with Mike's Hot Honey. It sounds spicy but really wasn't at all. I served it with some yellow rice with pimento and steamed asparagus. I will make this again.
