i posted this somewhere else .. i think ...
my neck is wrecked .. head is pinned to my shoulder ..
drugs are in the system but not doing much yet ..
so since we will not make a party i really want to go to ..

I just finished with beet greens and challah bread for lunch. Strange tastes, eh?

But for dinner, yum. I picked up some fresh clams at a farmers' market this morning and tonight I'm going to make Big Al's Wicked Good Clam Chowder.

Let over turkey-night 3. first night: roasted turkey with stuffing, mashed pots & gravy, last night: turkey BLTs, tonight-the last night: hot turkey in gravy with white rice and broccoli.
No great shakes, but stomach is still getting back from an ugly week.

I think that since it is another persons recipe, that a link to that recipe is appropriate. The link came up fine for me. I would have to check with Doc on that.

i'm workin' another double shift. dw gave me hell for it this morning. "you work too much, yada yada... we never have family time..."
she's really unhappy that i have to work a double on valentine's day, so i was thinking of bringing home flowers every day for the next week until the house is full of them by then.

so, i'm gonna run home for my dinner time, then race back into the city once again. dinner will probably be wendy's at 1am-ish.
 
I bought a prepared leg of lamb with a mint & pepper crust. Lovely. DW made up a roulade thingee with stewed gooseberries as the filling
 
I'm thinking about grilling some wings. Or some hot dogs. It depends what I have a taste for in a few hours.
 
Just got back from the feed store.

Looks like Oats mixed with molasses tonight. At least for the big dudes at the barn.

I don't know what I'm going to have.

I put a link to a recipe that I love from DC and I guess it hit the wrong nerve, so, I deleted, although, Doc said it was ok.


I am making something different anyway. For some reason, just doesn't sound good anymore.
I am making stuffed pork chop for dh as he loves his dressing and I am making this for me

It's almost 5 pm here and I still don't know if I'm making anything. I really don't feel like it. Maybe I'll get ds to go pick me up something............yeah right, like that will happen. lol
