Smithfield bone in smoked chops are good, Peeps. I find them a little too salty though.
I'm having leftover mac and cheese with the pea salad for lunch.
I've got a package of thin pork chops thawing.
I'll make those. Not sure of sides yet.

BTW Are the chops nice and smoky or the same as a ham steak?

Fairway chops were so good. Smelled like a smokehouse and tasted almost like bacon without all the fat.

I made 4.
2 encrusted with crushed Ritz, the others plain pan fried in the plant butter/olive oil.
I love them like this!
Baked sweet potato and garlic green beans.

Marinated (Lemon / Pepper) Chicken Breast from the Air Fryer, Baby Yukons fried in Duck Fat, Steamed cauliflower............ (Should have made a Sauce... )

Pan fried Smithfield smoked pork chop (very thin and not very smoky), mashed potatoes and Trader Joe's power greens pan fried in chop drippings.

Not really. To bland. I'm spoiled by Fairway chops. I'm going to have to go into the city and stock up on Fairway goodies.

Yup, I didn't like that. I didn't eat much of the meat. But I loved the taters and greens.

She got home late from hospital so I made a fire and grilled Italian sausages and andouille sausages. She made kraut and beans. The kraut was raw kraut, not what I’m used to, but good.

Trader Joe's power greens

May go back to TJ's and get more of these greens. I liked them so much. I'll pan fry them in butter with smoked ham base (and/or liquid smoke) added and serve with mashed.

I've got 2 pork chops left and a baked sweet potato.
I'll have those and a salad.

Plan for dinner is bone-in center cut pork chops braised/simmered with sauerkraut, caraway seeds, pork gravy and potatoes till tender. If it's not too hot I may sear/brown the chops and finish in the oven

.Could have gone with Garlic bread, but the only product in-house was English Muffins, and that did not go well.......

I had oatmeal and a banana for breakfast.
Turkey BLT and another fruit for lunch.
Dinner will be the baked spinach rigatoni pasta recipe I posted. The leftovers will feed me all weekend for work lunches.

It depends on Tina mommy. For brunch, we had fried peppers and eggs sandwiches. ( green / Burp* ones ).
