Our dinner reservations at the Lobster Shop were cancelled due to their air conditioning not being able to handle this kind of heat. My wife made those stuffed peppers and thought she was using brown rice but it was farro which is not gluten free. I guess I can suffer. Our friends don’t have AC so they were happy to come to supper this evening.

I roasted the chicken quarters in the crockpot for 4 hours, sprinkled with onion powder, garlic powder, a little paprika, some chicken base and a little light brown sugar.
Cauliflower and peas with McCormick's low sodium chicken gravy.
Leftovers tomorrow ?
It will be cup of soup. Something light and but tasty. I am still full from breakfast.....a 3 egg omelet
with cheese, and two toasted and buttered English muffins.
Probably leftovers Manhattan style, only no mashed potatoes...? Lol
I'll debone the chicken, mix some peas in with the gravy then have over bread.

I put my leftover, frozen rib steak from Father’s Day in a saute pan with a bit of olive oil, garlic, and salt and pepper on low and will let it thaw. The salads are still on.
Clueless.... Tina is at the cardiologist for a nuclear stress test and echocardiogram.
She fasted overnight; so she will be hungry. Rice and ? something sounds good.
Maybe pork chops? I don't know yet.
I went with red beans and rice.
I must say Vigo brand have always been my favourite. They've got that wonderful smokey flavour.
Sweet potatoes are perfect with them.
Mini sliced cornbread loaf too.
