Mommy Tina made a pound cake...put it all together, and "yum yum yum!"

Broiled sirloin steak, macaroni and cheese and grape tomato and fresh mozzarella pearls salad (oil, red wine vinegar, salt, pepper and fresh basil). House blend dipping sauce.

I love TJ’s tamales. I get a small can of red enchilada sauce to pour over.

It's only 46 degrees out, but no appetites yet. Maybe some tomato salad and grilled cheese.

It's 50F and raining. I went to Trader Joe's in the pouring rain this morning. I got tamales (several flavors), corn on the cob. Knorr Spanish rice may be a side. I also got fixings for mushroom and brie toasts.

Okay, looked up the menu and I'd order the pork belly appetizer and the spaghetti carbonara (with bacon and pork belly! LOL!)

Progresso Lasagna soup in a can, with crackers.
It was ok, and filling. ( like a sardine in a whales mouth )
Tina had a garden salad. With croutons.

I’m embarrassed to say what I had... pork belly was fantastic. I could have had that and some fried eggs and been happy. There was a non descript salad, 16 ounce veal rib chop that was fantastic and the wife had a bone in rib eye. I had a big bite of her’s that was just excellent. She could only eat a bit of it so I have leftovers for Monday. The wine was perfect and will have to find some. Dessert was rhubarb pie when I got home.
