What's in the meatballs?

Italian seasonings, garlic, eggs, panko, dried currents, and fried in peanut oil. It’s a Sicilian style meatball, a recipe from Mama Leone.

Calzone for me with spinach, ricotta, Parm Reg and fresh moz. Craig made the sauce. He had half each of strombolis with porchetta, onion, garlic, Parm Reg, fresh moz, and the same substituting Italian sausage for the porchetta. I only got thru half of mine.

It was good ; Kinda reminded me of Ahi Tuna... I've got another in the Freezer , so I'll have it at least one more time............ Expensive, tho' - $30 a pound........... curiosity reeled me in .............
 
Barely cooked oysters, and I mean just barely, just enough for them to start plumping, with a compound butter of garlic, green onions, creole seasoning, thyme, a touch of worchestershire, some lemon juice, salt and pepper. Served on a bed of rice pilaf to soak up any overflows. We first had these oysters in the French Market restaurant in downtown NOLA nearly 20 years ago.

The wife suggested pork cutlets breaded. Nah! Not a good for today.
I'm looking toward hot dogs and baked beans. Or cheese steaks.

We’re out running errands and DD#1 and hub got first COVID shot. DD wants to order from Italian restaurant. So may be late lunch/early dinner. Mac and cheese later if anyone is hungry.
