Yes Johnny, just google cowboy baked beans. I use the same ingredients mostly with mixed beans that are ready to go in a big bottle. I mix it up so much I really don’t have a recipe.

Craig's version of chicken cacciatore using tomatoes, red bell, onions and garlic. He was supposed to use fennel, but forgot about it. Garlic bread.

It was excellent.

No, no, no. Cooked fennel is great, not so much raw though.

What does the soda add? I may try that next time.

It was noticeable juicier. No hint of the cherry soda tho. I’d do it again, maybe something different. I think sometimes people post about something different and it becomes the latest trend. Bacon wrapped Oreos was a fad not long ago

I don't think it does, it turns sweetish, like onions do when cooked.

The first time Craig was able to talk me into trying it was with Ina Garten's potato fennel gratin. I was hooked after that.

I even use fennel pollen now.
