The mrs got a new cookbook that is all chicken soup recipes.
Tonight we are having chicken and dumpling soup with canned
chicken she processed this summer. I’m making tapioca pudding
from scratch using small pearl tapioca I got at the Indian market.

The mrs made a cream chicken and dumpling soup that has it’s roots in Acadia and Southern French farmhouse cooking. She was not happy with the way her dumplings turned out but they were still light and flavorful. The chicken was what we canned this summer and was quite good.

Everything looks fantastic, folks!

Karen, do you make bibimbop sauce or do you buy it?

Looks great, LT! Can't go wrong with pork tenderloin unless you overcook!

Last night’s fish and chips were not the best I had at Bob’s. The fries were good but the fish pieces were not the biggest I’ve had there. The batter was crispy and made the fish seem like a larger portion, if that makes sense. The shrimp were good, though. My wife had the avocado burger and it was great. I’ll try and post pictures later...
