What's on the menu Sunday, 10/24/2021 to Saturday, 10/30/2021?

Went food shopping yesterday. The dinner plan is lasagna or meatloaf. DD's are going out later, so things may change.

I'm working until 6pm today.
Not sure what dinner will be when I get home, but I'm packing a Stouffer's turkey tetrazzini for lunch.

I’m making a Sunday roast with onions, carrots and potatoes. It will be a nice change from shellfish.

Tummy not feeling so good today.
Breakfast was a toasted and lightly buttered English muffin then topped with American cheese, melted and browned under the broiler. And a cup of tea.

DD made rosemary focaccia in a cast iron pan. I had a piece for lunch.
We'll decide what dinner will be later after they get home.

Mini meat and cheese lasagna are in the oven. DD's have browned ground turkey in theirs. Hub and I have sliced meatballs and mushrooms in ours.

We decided to go for a drive... About 15 min. out we got hit with high winds and rain so hard we could hardly see. I did a loop around and headed for home.

This evening was the pot roast, etc. The prime chuck roast from Costco was excellent.

Brown rice, sweet red and green pepper, onions, and hamburger. I’m not sure of the rest of herbs and spices.

Should you make it, cook your rice first, as it suggests. She didn’t and it is taking forever for the rice to get done. She used brown rice.
