Last night was a Superbowl snack table for a couple of friends and me.

Appetizer dish, from 12 o'clock: toasted wheat pita wedges, linguica, mini peppers, avocado chips (horrible!), storebought boneless chicken wings, carrots and celery. Bleu cheese dressing in the center.

Jean's Bean Dip in casserole. This was the hit of the snacks, natch! I will post the recipe.

Shrimp Primavera thing...
This is store brand- from the freezer case pasta primavera.
I thought hmmm, I'll buy that and add some shrimp (de-tailed, in the pan with crushed red pepper flakes).
It's very good.
Another easy meal for keeps.
Salad too, with Italian dressing.

Dad has been in the hospital (double pneumonia), and is doing better. But I've been eating chicken leftovers forever!

Cooked a NY Strip Steak on cast iron for the first time in months. Boy, was it tender and good!

With stir-fried spinach and smashed baby purple and red potatoes.

Ahhhhhh!
