I worked from1 to 7 today so asked Craig to deal with the burgers and he messed them up. Instead of making large, thin burgers so they would cook quickly and not dry out since they had to be cooked to 160 because of pork, he made fat little balls basically that were half the size of the buns and looked stupid sitting there on the bun. And, since they had to be on grill so long to cook thru, they were dry as sawdust. He seems to have no common sense anymore and keeps messing up each time I ask him to finish dinner. I had already made the remoulade and prepped the corn maque choux (corn and mirliton/chayote squash) to the point of him only needing to turn the pan on and let it cook. I'm getting to the point that I'm ready to start buying frozen dinners because I simply don't want to cook every night and he can't be trusted to make edible food. He hasn't cooked a meal from start to finish since before his fall. I've been doing all the prep and precooking things to a certain point when possible. He's only used the grill twice and messed up both meals. Sorry to dump/vent on you guys, so rant over.

Tonight I heated up Andy’s spaghetti sauce he gifted us and fried several Italian Sausage I got at Stewart’s yesterday. It was all pretty good.

I'm glad my nurse scheduler texted me.
Turns out I wasn't put on the weekend schedule AT ALL.
Ever since we've had contracted agency nurses since covid, the prn nurses (me) get bumped, in favour of them and our regular nursing staff.
Hmmph! ?
Doesn't bother me, I'm retiring next year.

Soooo, let's see, leftovers for dinner or a pot pie (chicken/Marie Callender's) or ham and bean soup with little corn breads.
