I got a decent night’s sleep and having coffee. This evening I’ll grill some steelhead, but not sure about sides.
I ended up working 8 hours instead of 4 yesterday, so I had one of the dinner options.
Ham, scalloped potatoes and a fruit cup of cherries and cantaloupe.
I'm hoping to only do the 4 as scheduled today, then come home and make something

Well, that changed. She wanted nothing so I’m making hotdogs later.
I went to Arby's and got a classic beef and cheddar with a jamocha shake.

Maurice Salad. Julienne ham, turkey, Swiss, in a special dressing. It was iconic at the Hudsons stores in Detroit for many decades. Once Macy's bought them out, they ruined the recipe.
Late lunch/ early dinner.
I added roasted chicken pieces, red onion, tomatoes, mini cukes,cranberries, walnuts and bleu cheese crumbles.
Carrot juice to drink.

Last night I ate my $6. to take home from Olive Garden. I made a nice salad
(Which I'll eat tonight). Yesterday was busy ,I had to take puppy to Vet to get Spaded,
and some shots. Poor girl has to wear the cone for 2 weeks. Feeding her by hand, and
trimming crop from my garden. I'm just busy. I just had lunch- Very tasty, but would not make a
good picture. Tator tots, topped with all meat chili, cheddar on top of that. (i'll do that again. but
next time, I'll take pic,w/ cheese on top.) Mid 90's here too. I'm glad I have great AC.

We had garden potatoes, peas, pear salad, and hamburger steak with mushroom gravy. I attempted to make a mini-potatoes Anna in my smallest skillet. They stuck, but were still yummy. I found this little gizmo that keeps peas from mixing with gravy or vice versa....it works well!

We still have a Macy’s and Nordstrom in Tacoma but only Nordstrom has cafe and it is mediocre.
I used to love Stern's department store café Spinach salad.
The Lazarus in Lima (then it was Macy's) was recently demolished.
We used to go to the top floor restaurant.
I loved their salads, chicken salad sandwiches, just about everything.
Tonda and I used to go there a lot.
Mom would take us up there after she went shopping.
