I am quite full now.

Nancy found Omaha Steak’s sirloins in freezer that are cut like fillet mignon and will do them on the grill this evening. I’ll get some romaine for a salade and do a couple of russets.

Last night was ham and cheese sandwiches withe the last of German potato salade and coleslaw. I’m glad that’s gone.

I don’t recommend Omaha Steaks sirloin cuts - they tasted okay but were tough. We sent the leftover’s home with John A for steak sandwich’s. Nancy’s beet salade with goat cheese and walnuts was wonderful. There was steamed broccoli but didn’t make the picture.

I have a pork roast in the crockpot. I'll make mashed potatoes and green beans for the sides.

Ground beef, baked beans and biscuit bake.
Love this!
I used Bush's brown sugar hickory beans and Pillsbury Grands.
There is a good cheese blend both atop the mixture as well as on the biscuits.

Cuke, onion, tomato salad too.

This was last night. Grilled marinated turkey tips ,(too dry), carrots and onions packet (not charred enough) and farmers market corn (wonderful!).

Perfect summer day - wish they were all this lovely! Beach this morning, then this afternoon, showing off my garden to a work friend, then cocktails with Kathy in her yard as we grilled another dinner.

Perfect medium-rare Muenster cheeseburger, peppers (storebought), mini eggplant (my first harvest of the season).

She made tuna salade. There is beet salade leftovers and bread is Franz 12 grain 1/2 loaves.

I made a Chicken Caesar Salad with my favorite dressing, homemade croutons, chicken breast grilled on my Griddler.

Spectacular, if I do say so!

It took 7 hours to make bolognese. It’s a meat ragu, not light like a marinara. Served it over paparadle. Big salad.

I have a lot left. Plan to make a lasagne bolognese later in the week and freeze the rest.

Thanks Lora. I usually try to make sure that the salad takes up more of the plate than the main dish, but I got a little carried away this time.

I'm treating my son Jeff today, for his belated 48th birthday meal.
No idea where he wants to go yet.
Told him it's his choice of course!

Sticky chicken with steamed carrots, COTC, and garden tomatoes and cukes. Watermelon for dessert.

I made the sauce in cast iron, spatchcocked a small chicken and roasted it right in with the sauce. It made it one pan clean up for the chicken.
