Last night I fried up a bait of bacon and made Swedish pancakes. It was all good.

A "bait of bacon", John? WTH? Did you fry it on the "hob"?

I love the bacon jerky.

The Bacon is pastured pork grown but a farm outside 100 Mile House, B.C. It has no nitrates and is home smoked. I saved the skin for baked beans I’m planning next week.

Tonight is lobster tails wit polenta and a mushroom sauce.
to much snow to grill steaks and they are still in the freezer.

Antipasti. Caprese salad. Genoa. Pickled veges of eggplant, red bell, onions, garlic. Mini bruschetta with arugula, onions cooked down with sugar and Merlot, and gorgonzola.

With this snow storm we didn’t feel like cooking much and had some leftovers.
We’ll do the lobster tails tomorrow and will try oven broiling the steaks. More
snow is predicted tomorrow, then rain. That wet snow is going to be PITA to
shovel.

I had chicken soup for brunch yesterday.
We had pan fried ham steak, scrambled eggs and sliced tomato for dinner last night.

Hot dogs and beans - the traditional Saturday night fare when Dad and I are together.

I did clean off the car and shovel snow from half the drive. The rest can melt on it’s own. This morning’s snow turned to rain.

I’m going to air fry the lobster tails basted with a mix of butter, garlic, lemon zest, and smoked paprika. She says she doesn’t want a steak.
