What's For Dinner Sunday April 26- Saturday May 2 2026

A large Bowl of French Onion Soup.
That filled me up. If I get hungry later,
I’ll make myself A cheeseburger on toast.

I made the cod with garlic butter and chili lime sauce that Kathy (Silversage) posted. Delicious! I would be happy with just the garlic butter sauce, but the chili lime was wonderful!

I opted for fresh cod from Whole Foods instead of the frozen stuff on sale. I have another half to make a couple of tacos.

Oh man! That plate looks de-lish!

I reheated the other half of my chili lime cod to make tacos. Wonderful! (I did fold these into my handy taco holder after snapping the photo).

I'm encouraged to make more fish tacos using fresh fish instead of my usual storebought frozen fried fish.

It’s a night for spaghetti… I just threw a sauce together that resembles a stew with 1# burger, tomatoes, portobello mushroom, onions, bay leaves, parsley, basil, garlic, salt, and red wine. I’ll add tomato paste later. I have an imported whole wheat spaghetti that fits my anti inflammatory diet.

I worked in the garden all day so the fella made dinner. Hotdogs with his own pickled red onions. He also made hashbrowns AND took a photo of his plate for me. (I rarely put ketchup on anything but a French fry, tater tot, or onion ring.) My hotdog had chili sauce, pickled onions and mustard. No cheese.
