I love strong horseradish - not tonight but will try a martini with this vodka.

Last night I had the horseradish vodka frozen in a frozen glass straight up with blue cheese olives. The vodka has no horseradish heat but good flavour. I’ll continue with it up and not mixed in a bloody.

It’s smooth… $11, no tax. Distilled 7 times. Military Vodka, 1.75 ltr. Tastes just like Grey Goose. Blue cheese olives.

The owner of Trevari is German and makes a lot of small batch varieties. This was a limited bottle from a few years ago when we belonged to the wine club. We quit the wine club when Nancy quit drinking due to her heart problems.

Pinot Rouge is made from the Pinot Noir grape. The skins and seeds are filtered out early in the process to keep the wine light colored.
If you filter out the skins immediately after crushing, you get a white wine, usually made into champagne.
I'm going to have Sam Adams Boston Lager this evening.

I made my own blue cheese olives with Gorgonzola tonight and came out good albeit messy. I used the little bit of olive brine to dirty it up… not bad. Vodka on ice.
