Hobo stew would be right up my alley!
I love raisin bread...
There was a farm stand ( Big Place actually ) in town, and they had fresh baked raisin bread with drizzle ice glaze. It was gooood!

Chicken & cheese enchiladas with Spanish rice. Only ate half of them, so we'll have the rest tonight. This was the first time I made enchiladas, but it won't be the last. Now I have another option for leftover meat.

lunch was simple- veggie soup, olives, v8, & candy.

dinner may be an egg & cheese sammich. i have bacon, too, & thin-cut skillet steak- so may make 1 of those 2.

Italian style fried breaded steak.
I cut it in wedges, and cooked them in the electric skillet.

Tina made a great meat sauce for GD, and elbows.

I just ate the steak and cole slaw from the Kentucky Fried Chicken place. I love their coleslaw.

Made BLT with Cheese...on toast X2

My hot peppers in oil and garlic, and coleslaw from KFC.
Tina made a Lemon Chiffon Pie. It's in the reefer setting.
It will be a bed time snackaroo! :blob_blue:

Yummy!!!

Butterflied pork chop cooked on the George Foreman grill and steamed broccoli with watery hollandaise. Note to Self: Must use full amount of butter if you want the hollandaise to thicken up :yum::

That pork chop looks like it was very moist. Too many folks cook pork chops until you could line the bottom of your shoe with them. You've got it dialed in.

Feeling a little Jewish today, so I made Latkes for dinner. DW was pleasantly surprised to see them.

And we got a "S" load of potatoes. Hmmm!! HellOoooo Tina!

Such a great meal.

Church fest food this afternoon! my fave bartender made scads of drinks/jello shots. i drank a few last night (she gave me several to critique, & they were a-okay to me, as was). Church ladies & others sell food. i'll get a few pix.

Went meatless last night - stuffed portobello with a salad:

A little bit of food trivia...I have never been sure of the spelling of the name for those mushrooms. I've seen it spelled many ways - portobello, portobella, portabella, portabello. I finally looked it up this morning. It seems the preferred spelling is portobello.

That's my trivia for today :encore:.

However you spell it Cooksie, that looks awesome...in fact, all of the food this week looks awesome!

Easy dinner tonight. I had some leftover chicken skewers from last night so I just put together somechicken club salads for dinner.

luvs...Remember I was saying DD made them for fathers day meal.
Come to find out. Her BF made the hooch from corn mash in a still he has up on the farm. It was instant "S" faced after the second one. I couldn't swally it whole like that. It makes me Gee Ayy Gee. I used a demitasse spoon to eat it like a little 2 year old.
