I'm a sucker for fresh wax beans and buy them whenever I see them. Scored more at the Farmer's Market.

Served with a grilled smoked pork chop (half) and grilled poblano, a bit of brown rice and grilled roma tomato.

I made enchilada for dinner. Took a pound of tomatilla, a poblano, a jalapeno, some cilantro and cooked it down to a green sauce. Carnitas from the freezer rolled inside of corn tortillas, topped with the sauce and some cheese.

Really better than the Mexican restaurant, and I was able to control the salt and fat content.

I was going to roast the broccoli and cauliflower too, but just decided to do it stove top, to keep the wax beans company.

I had rotisserie chicken, salad with grape tomatoes dressed with lemon juice and grated Italian cheeses.

Also had a grapefruit beer.
