My the first name means nothing in my language as it is borrowed from German language centuries ago, meaning is like "rich inheritor" or "ruler". Second name means by my language as "berry" or by other theory it comes from name Maryam, Mariam or the Holy Mary. My family name means "war".

"General Strawberry"

Good Morning Saliha,

Are you referring to your screen name, in my case Adillo303 or my given name or family name?

Adillo303 - Comes from the name of my consulting service Armadillo Services and I was located for fifteen plus years at 303 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. I am still on Fifth Ave, different building and still consulting.

Oh no no I am General Strawberry by my own name. Name Saliha is my honour name because of my human right working. Its meaning is "person who makes right" or "right minded" or "honoured".

Saliha is arabic name.

My first name is from the Greek and means light. My middle name is Kathleen and means bright and pure. My last name is Hungarian and means crisscross.

My first name is English-Scottish. It means "meadow".

My last name is Scottish, a derivative of the French for "strawberry-picker" (at least, that's the family lore).

Mine means 'warm' and 'powerful enough to be heard from a distance'. :D

My full name is James Andrew Coyle, as was my father's and his father before him. My grandson's first name is James, which he goes by. So I guess it's family tradition.

When my family immigrated from Ireland, I am told that it was O'Coyle.

My maiden name means bold warrior. I've always been fascinated by names and their meaning.

I don't know too much about my first name, except that it's of Scottish derivation - my brothers and I all have the same name in three different dialects - mine, Ian, is Scottish, my one brother, Sean, is Irish and the third one of us is John - pretty English. I asked Da what our last name means and his answer was classic - "Look Ma, the cows are dying!"

My the second name is too as family tradition (Maria, Marjatta, Marja). Name of my sister is Anna (Annie) from my mother´s father mother.
