I spent afternoon listening to old play list music I saved, no longer want, and deleted. Discovered a new to me group from Quebec… Will try to post something - they are talented, innovating, and weird.

My two local son’s are working to get tickets to see these guys in either Vancouver or LA. Their other shows are sold out. The guitarist designed his guitar to play notes in between notes on a regular guitar. They sent for everyone.

When I was younger people would slip weed into my drink and I’d go down to the creek on the farm and zone out to this 17 minute song. I still do (when they do it to me)

Just posted this on Facebook.
When it first hit the charts we were crazy about them.
Mom thought it was a nice country song.
Back then country rock was taking off.
My brother bought the album.
Then came Skynyrd, ARS and all the others.

I wasn’t really exposed to good bands like this when I was a kid. It’s fun to discover new tunes from back in the day

I remember hearing “green grass & high tides” once when my coworker played it. Been a fan ever since

After I posted the Marshall Tucker Band "Can't You See" on Facebook, a gal I went to school with quipped " what? they always sucked"..
So delete!
I guess I'll keep my musical choices on here from now on.

I remember hearing “green grass & high tides” once when my coworker played it. Been a fan ever since

No pics. Before cell phones. Plus I was feeling to good, and enjoying the music too much to care about pictures.

I also saw Judas Priest there. A helicopter dropped joints. Not many but it was timed to "Breaking the Law". Was a blast. There were cops on a building overlooking the stage. The band brought out a bike on the stage. This isn't NYC pier, but it was the same.
