The plan is DD will be making stir fry veggies and tofu with homemade garlic sauce (I will do the prepping). But that depends on how she feels when she gets out of work. If not it may be breaded chicken cutlets or take-out.

We were supposed to have grilled homemade pizza, but change of plans.

Craig had:
THE FRIENDLY GHOST
8oz custom blend ANGUS 1855 patty with our housemade ghost pepper pineapple jam, ghost pepper jack cheese, our housemade pineapple chutney, candied bacon, served on a seeded challah bun.

I had:

SERENITY BLEU
AKA BUFFALO BLUE CHEESE BRGR.House blend BRGR marinated in our buffalo sauce grilled and topped with Dutch blue cheese, lettuce, tomato and red onion.

We both had a side of onion rings.

Wow....you are lucky to be able to do sit inside eating. We can't do that yet.
It's curbside pick up still.

It's still with social distancing inside, Jimmy.

I already know what I'm making for dinner this evening.
Found a nice, albeit thin! t-bone at the grocery store last night.
I'll grill pan that, and make a nice salad.
By the way, the price of ground beef??!!!
Dear Lord...

We stir fried veggies, bean threads and tofu with homemade garlic sauce last night.

DD's are going to order Mexican tonight. I think hub and I will be having ham steak and eggs (I may also have a little bit of steamed baby spinach) for dinner.

Dear Lord...

I was just updating my grocery list....$6.24/lb for the good stuff, a chub is less expensive .

I didn't reverse sear this one.
Too thin, and I was afraid to.
The salad is mixed greens, mostly baby spinach, sliced yellow bell, cherry tomatoes, croutons.
I need to get more Panera balsamic vinaigrette.

We went fancy tonight. Arugula and pear salad with pear vinaigrette. Then, pan-seared potato gnocchi with buerre noissette (browned butter) finished with black truffle finishing salt, grated aged provolone and black truffle shavings. The gnocchi dish was from 1 of the dinners at the James Beard home.

I think they have to be going on 3" thick to reverse sear. Good looking meal though!

Thanks.
I can't say for sure if I've ever had anything truffle-related.
While I was living abroad, I ate a lot of fancy things in England and Paris.
I do know I love gnocchi!

Cooksie, I picked up a pack last night at the store and put it back down.
Seriously? :yum:
It's ok.
I do have some in the freezer for making meatballs.
I bought it at Kroger a few weeks ago.
One of my shopping trips where I just race through and throw stuff in the cart.
Couldn't tell you how much I paid for it.
There isn't even a store tag on it.
Go figure.

I was going to make the pineapple meatballs with bow tie pasta for dinner, but I'm not feeling it now.
So.. it's gonna be fat burgers with deli potato salad.

Talk about lazy!
I ended up making quick homemade sloppy joes, instead of burgers.
I added a Velveeta single.
'My Premier' potato salad from Chief supermarket deli.

I'm having ice cream later.
97° out there!

Today was Shame for supper. Shame I say? Yep! .... a large tomato salad, and a 3/4 of a loaf of bread. Some with butter. We were too full from the salad to eat the grilled steaks.

Looks fresh and delicious to me, Jimmy.

Back to work today.
No cooking, but I have plenty of leftover food to pack.
