Had tomato salad, and Strozzapreti ( Cavatelli )pasta. A batch w fried cabbage, and a batch with tomato sauce. Strozzapreti in Italian, means Strangle the Priest. Gram wound tell us a funny story, that someone?? made these macaroni for a priest, and he ate so much, he succumbed to strangulation when the macaroni swelled up in his stomach.
Did I ever eat too much of them ?? NOoooo, Just like I never ate too many doughnut's.

Supper was Costco chicken and half a sweet potato. There was zucchini, as well but didn’t get to it. Maddie ate one thigh and half of mine.
Strozzapreti is new to me. I would like to try it, if I can find it. Looks very dense and filling, though.

I just Googled "Strozzapreti" and see longer, kind of twisted pieces of dough. Did you cut yours to make them look more like gnocchi?

John, is that a white sweet potato? Now, that's another thing I would like to try, if I could find it.
I don't care for the orange sweet potatoes. The white one are supposed to be less sweet, more nutty, right?

I love Cavatelli. Frozen Celentano are good.
Jules was supposed to come, but she's got the grandkids until it's her work time.
I didn't want to go alone, so asked Jeff to come with me. He said, "Mom, I just ate like 2 hours ago" - I said okay, I'll just get something take out.
He texted me and said, I'll eat again
Haven't been there for quite a while.
He got the huge tenderloin.
I got the Big Catch.
Had to bring the other half home lol

To my knowledge, I don't think I've ever had it before. I normally get the salad with the fruit bread on the side or the burger.
Their menu hasn't changed at all.
I was going to get a piece of key lime pie or cheesecake but that was more than enough.

I was supposed to make sloppy joes but eye appointment went long due to my doctor being on call and had to leave for a while. Nancy made the joes and were a hit with Madeline. I failed to get a photo. I don’t know why but getting eyes dilated wears me out.
Chicken strips and broccoli cheese today.
