What are you eating Sunday, 6/21/2026 to Saturday, 6/27/2026?

I’m following Johnny’s lead and we’re going to have hot dogs! Plant based for me and regular for Buzz. Now to figure out a side…….🤔

Yummmm!!!

We were going out for fish and chips with friend’s but overnight I came down with bad ear infection and only appointment I could get was 1630 when we were supposed to meet so I canceled dinner. We’ll have some frozen Kevin’s meals late, if I feel like it.

Feel better, John.

Well, turns out it was just April and I.
Jules got called into work, Pam decided to help her son move to Wauseon.
We went to Ninja.
I got the chicken katsu, rice and edamame.
First time ever having the chicken katsu.
Didn't take a pic because this fool left her phone at home. 🙄😅

I had one more Italian sausage from the other night, so I cooked it up, added some tomato sauce, got 1 sub roll, topped with cheese and wa-la! The sausage sub I'd been craving.

I could have eaten the whole thing, but I want to try a new Yasso yogurt pop later (cookie dough) so am saving half the sub for tomorrow.

Enjoy the yogurt pop!
They're good.

L/O’s Freezer food tonight. I’m starting
W/ my Pinto Beans, pork neck bones and cheddar Cassadia. 2nd entry my Chicken Rice.
Which is more of a rice dish, than a soup.

Dan, how do you fix your pork neck bones? I've only used them in pots of greens, but I have a package in the freezer and am open to new ideas.

My grandmother used to cook pork neck bones with some spices, pull out and pick the meat from bones and sinew, and then mince it. Then she would strain the liquid and cook cornmeal with the meat and strained broth. Once done, into the loaf pan and refrigerate overnight for the best scrapple anywhere.

Last night was supposed to be fish and chips with our friend’s Dave and Bess. I canceled due to late doctor’s appointment. When I got home Nancy suggested Hebrew National hot dogs again only this time with cheddar cheese. It was all good except I’m about burned out with potato salad.

Welllll, I decided to use up some leftover rotisserie chicken and broccoli from the freezer.
I made a very light sauce of sesame oil, soy sauce, honey and ginger.
Geez, I've been having a lot of rice lately 😄
This is delicious even though it looks not as pretty as I'd intended 🤷‍♀️
