What are you eating Sunday, 6/21/2026 to Saturday, 6/27/2026?

It's cool here too, just reached 70 with a high of only 74 today. I am not sure about supper either, I think I will pick up a rotisserie chicken and play it by ear. My DH doesn't love chicken, but we have other food like frozen burger patties, etc. He hates cooking though and makes a big mess when he does it, LOL. Oh well. Tin's not the only one in a grumpy mood today, IDK why either. I used to wake up grumpy, now I let him sleep, LOL.
Jusa, I misspelled my wife's name.....It's 'TINA', and even that is not her real name. It's Christine, but everyone generally called her 'Tina' as a kid. Ha Ha Ha !
I am not a favorite of poultry either. If I do eat it, it has to be skinless; Well cooked, and crunchy and crispy. Not Juicy. Uh Uh Uh! Also it has to be free range chicken. Bell & Evans is ok, as long as it passes the "Tina Test!".... What's the test???.. Tina has a very high sense of smell and taste. She worked in the supermarket meat departments, and could smell bad meat; no matter what kind it is. Even Fish! If you can smell the fish, it's not fresh. Same goes for chicken!

I knew it was Tina, but thought maybe when she's grumpy you call her something else...lololol maybe you do and it's not Tin or Tina...

I took two of the Butterball sweet onion seasoned turkey burgers (1/3lb each) and mushed them up, then formed into meatballs- it made 7.
In the air fryer @ 390 for 16 minutes.
Added a mixture of P.F. Chang's sesame sauce + 2T of hot honey bbq sauce.
Steamed green beans and rice too.
This was delicious.

Now I've got leftovers from this and the tuna mac and cheese.

Very creative!

I wanted to make Fried Chicken, but after getting today's errands done, we decided to shop at TJ's and they didn't have the chicken I would want to use. They did have whole chickens at a good price, so I've switched to rot chicken in the Showtime. I'll still use my fried chicken coating as it works for rot chicken too. I'll make some slaw and we have a few white COTCs...sounds like a good meal to me!

The simplest meal Made today. Fried cooked un-sauced spaghetti in butter and oil, till crispy.
Then salted to taste, with black pepper. This is a poor Calabrian Italian meal, and believe me..... I've eaten plenty of it growing up. It is originally eaten with the fingers. Thumb, and forefinger like one would eat pop corn.
A dish towel is set on the table, to wipe the butter and drizzling oil off the face. I don't know, but the semolina flavor is enhanced IMO. I ate mine with a fork though, just to keep the peace with the wife. BTW I don't comment negatively to her when she eats her Pigs Feet, or chicken feet.
