I brined some chicken leg quarters overnight for the smoker. I made a creamy wild rice and broccoli baked dish for a side. Deviled eggs appetizer. Everything turned out great.
Last night I just had a small piece of the steak. Didn't feel like eating much.Dinner will most likely be skirt steak, cotc, and a veggie. Breakfast and lunch are undecided.
It's a pretty simple setup, just an electric Cuisinart smoker. It works.I may have asked you this before, Jusa - what kind of smoker do you have?

Is that an egg?I had a little piece of leftover grilled strip steak which I diced up along with a chunk of onion and a small (nuked) potato for a hash. DEE licious! I was actually surprised at how good this was!

Genova is really good. I like the one in oil, though other brands I prefer the tuna packed in water. Not sure why. Here be the Spaghetti and Tuna fish .( Canned Genova brand ). Tomato salad as the veggie.

It's cool here too, just reached 70 with a high of only 74 today. I am not sure about supper either, I think I will pick up a rotisserie chicken and play it by ear. My DH doesn't love chicken, but we have other food like frozen burger patties, etc. He hates cooking though and makes a big mess when he does it, LOL. Oh well. Tin's not the only one in a grumpy mood today, IDK why either. I used to wake up grumpy, now I let him sleep, LOL.No clue yet for supper. Tomato salad for starters though. Tin's in a grumpy mood for some reason.
IDN why??? Had pancakes for starter of the day. Maybe a bowl of soup of some sort.
It is a cool day with no sun. Rained last night; so that sets up a sort of appetite.... We shall see,
