Darn weather but yep and thanksFeel better Ghan.
My joints feel a bit better today after a few hours sleep.
Got overruled - leftover curry with precooked Costco chicken is on.My plan is to grill a piece of coho over the coals.
Hope that the both of you are on the mend and back to 100% very soon!Feel better Ghan.

My husband thinks he might have an ear infection, but refuses to take any acetaminophen, ibuprofen, or anything like that. Won't go to the doctor. But it affects his appetite. His birthday was Thursday, and I've been wanting to make him braised lamb shanks and risotto for his birthday dinner, but he keeps telling me he doesn't have the appetite for it. The shanks are in a cryovac package with an Apr 25 date to use or freeze by. I'm gonna try to drag him to the minute clinic tomorrow for antibiotics. If he's not better by Wednesday I'm just gonna cook the damned things and eat it myself.Vicks cough drops and tylanol![]()
Maybe sitting them in front of him might get him "hungry enough to regain his appetite for them." If not, eatem in front of him making all sorts of pleasurable sounds - not the "When Harry met Sally" type of sounds - pleasurable food type soundsHis birthday was Thursday, and I've been wanting to make him braised lamb shanks and risotto for his birthday dinner, but he keeps telling me he doesn't have the appetite for it. It takes 3-4 hours to cook them. I'm just gonna make them sometime in the next few days and he'll eat a little or a lot. (((Gentle Hugs)))Have been a lot of pain lately so not much sleep. Plan on making some Celentano cavatelli with homemade meatballs, and sauce. Much later.

Yes please!!!
Looks delicious Lee!!!America's Test Kitchen said to toss chicken wings with baking powder before oven baking them on a Pam'd rack at 425 for 50 minutes. I shook my wings in a bag with 2 T. baking powder, 1 T. of Kinder's seasoning and 1 teas. of granulated garlic.
Very good! Almost as good as my Mom's Baked Wings.

I love garlic on everything almost. I once made garlic and turmeric caramel ice cream and it was good. Yeah weird, but...Love garlic green beans! Don't know if yours are gartlic but they sure do look good !
I'll second thatI love garlic on everything almost
With your metabolism why not all 3?I'll second that
Well, my chicken is cooked and it does loook good; however, I also have sausage rolls and curry pies in the freezer that are also sounding good ???
Decisions decisions ....![]()
Good point !!!!With your metabolism why not all 3?
Funny thing, that’s on the menu for tomorrow night only with riced cauliflower for a topping.Oh yeah, I've never made shepherds pie but always wanted to. I like the idea of using tender braised chunks as opposed to ground/minced lamb.
