I got a flu shot on Monday. Without fail I always get sick within a week after. I feel lousy. But it’s better than getting full blown flu. Probably leftovers or delivery for dinner.

So, I snipped the two goodies off the bone, and will have the Tenderloin tomorrow, with some shrimps.


Long side (Strip) of the Porterhouse, Grilled, Air-Roasted Baby Yukons, Steamed Brussels Sprouts, the omnipresent Salad, and a glass of Burgundy ...

Had small bowl leftover stuffed cabbage last night. Tonight will be quickie chicken soup or bacon and eggs if I feel like cooking.

Went Pumpkin picking yesterday with the little Shark.... They had a gift shop (of course) and a " Market" with lots of Amish stuff... Bought a Chicken Pie, and will have 1/4 of it for dinner tonight, and will freeze the other three servings...

Well, I got lazy not wanting to spend much time in the kitchen so I made this.

You just heat it in a skillet--sauce meat, and vegs.

Served it over some of my ever present rice kept on hand.

It's not bad!

Thanks for the fix, and thanks for the recipe. I really liked the middle of the pancake best with all the cabbage.

Not sure about tonight's dinner.
Lucky, my supermarket has fresh baked chicken pies with a nice flaky crust.
So I'm considering that.
Also got some fall meals planned this week.
Stuffed acorn squash with sausage, stuffing, pecans, cranberries etc..
A sheet pan dinner too with smoked sausage, sweet potatoes, onions and Brussels sprouts.

I just got back from shopping myself, Peeps!
Found a chicken pie in the deli case, the only one without the filling spilled out or broken crust lol

Today's effort ;
Pan-Seared Tenderloin, finished in the Air Fryer, Grilled Zucchini, Sliced Yukons fried in Duck Fat, Pepper Shrimp with Garlic Butter, and the Salad, of course...

I cook medium shells with a handful of baby shells; so that the Mommy Shells Hold / spoon the baby ones.

I also make a white pasta fagioli. I add crumble Italian sausage. Never added spinach. I will have to try that.

Brunch after food shopping yesterday (had to go to a second store to get my rotisserie chicken) was chicken and fruit cocktail. My usual store now doesn't put their chickens on till 10 am. I shop at 7 am.

Last night's dinner was pan seared NY strip steak and sautéed broccoli rabe.
