Joanne Woodward and Paul Newman are both Oscar-winning actors. They met in

1953 and were married in 1958 and starred in ten feature films together. The couple had three daughters together and were married for 50 years until Paul Newman died of lung cancer in 2008. Newman was previously married and Woodward was rumored to have earlier been engaged to Gore Vidal.
