CRAP !!
Lana Turner made headlines in 1958 when her lover was stabbed to death by her 14 year-old daughter.
Lana Turner (1921-1995) was known as "the sweater girl," for her voluptuous figure. On April 4, 1958 her 14 year-old daughter, Cheryl Crane, stabbed Turner's boyfriend, Johnny Stompanato, to death during an argument. A coroner's jury ruled the killing was self-defense, and no one was ever charged in Stompanato's death. The incident made headlines, however, and is still the subject of speculation today.
