TRUTH !!

A six month quarantine was necessary to bring a horse into Australia and the government would not make an exception for horses taking part in the Olympics. As a result, the Equestrian events were held in Stockholm in June (which of course was summertime in the northern hemisphere) and the other Olympic events were held in Melbourne in November.
