CRAP !!

Chuck Howley was the first non-quarterback to win MVP of a Super Bowl.

Howley owns a double distinction: Not only was he the first non-QB to win Super Bowl MVP, he was also the first Super Bowl MVP selected from the team that lost the game. He was a linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys from 1961 to 1973, and also played for the Bears before journeying to Texas. In Super Bowl V (5), he had two interceptions, which won him the award, but the Cowboys lost the game to the Baltimore Colts by a score of 16-13.
