TRUTH !!

The instrument works by placing thirty-seven glass bowls of varying sizes over a rotating spindle, turning slowly. Much like touching the rim of a glass with a wet finger, the player touches the bowls with wet fingers. The sound produced depends on the size of the bowl. Mozart himself wrote music for Franklin's invention.
