(The Brewers were originally part of the American League from their creation in 1969 as the Seattle Pilots. They moved to Milwaukee in 1970. The Major Leagues expanded to 30 teams in 1998. Ed O'Neill, who played Al Bundy, on "Married... with Children", also plays Jay Pritchett on "Modern Family". He once won a football scholarship to Ohio University, where he studied history. After graduating, the Pittsburgh Steelers drafted him in the 15th round in 1969. But he was cut from the team during training camp. Before turning to acting as a career, O'Neill taught Social Studies at Ursuline High School.
