CRAP !!

Of the 280 medals awarded in the 1904 Olympics, the USA won 239 of them.

The 1904 Olympics were held in St. Louis, Missouri and were totally dominated by the United States, which won 78 of 96 gold medals, and 239 of

280 total medals. Germany, which finished second in the medal count, won four gold medals and 13 in total. As impressive as this sounds, it should be noted that 80% of the athletes who participated were from the United States, and over half of the events were contested only by Americans.
