TRUTH !!!

The 1901 eastern United States heatwave was one of the deadliest heatwaves in history, with an estimated 10,000 people killed, and countless others hospitalised with related health conditions such as heatstroke and exhaustion. In the middle of June, the city of Springfield, Massachusetts, experienced the first of an eventual fifty consecutive days where the temperature did not drop below 28° Celsius (83° Fahrenheit); the average daily temperature was a scorching 34° C (93° F). Other cities were hit hard, with Philadelphia, Pennsylvania experiencing twelve consecutive days where the temperature stayed above 32° C (90° F), and a temperature of 43° C (109°

F) was recorded in Wilmington, Delaware. The heatwave's prolonged and deadly presence resulted in many local and state authorities enacting strict legislations around worker safety, particularly for those working outdoors.

The month of July was the hottest recorded single month recorded in the contiguous US until 1931.
