Here’s a spot to post your meandering thoughts and great epiphanies, no matter how small or insignificant they may seem (or be)!
In Star Wars: Episode 2, during the huge arena fight, the Jedi Windu Mace (Samuel L. Jackson) engages Jango Fett on the balcony. He is soon attacked by droids and then Jango fires on him with.....a FLAME THROWER! I always wondered, why such a primitive attack? Then it hit me! Jedi Master or not, you can’t block a stream of flame with a light saber! Mace was blocking every laser blast from the droids, but a stream of flame....nope! Had to run! Now I get it!
Oh, and in that same fight, Mace later beheads Jango Fett on the field. Next time you watch that scene (if you ever do), watch closely during the beheading. You’ll notice the shadow of the helmet on the ground as the head comes off. You can actually see the shadow split as the head slides out of the helmet and goes one way, and the helmet goes another. Just thought I’d share that with ya!
