Burger King is next to my gun club. I got a double Whopper and ate it at the club. Was fresh made and good….

Jeff tried the Big Arch from McDonald's.
He loved it, but it's gotten mixed reviews.

I went to gun club and shot one round of skeet by myself, rushed, and shot poorly. There was a surprise bbq with smash burgers and had a double then a third thick one. The onions were sweet and so good. It was loud with everyone trying to talk over each other and left early for some solitude.

Today was lunch at High West. What a gorgeous venue!
Lunch was a flat bread appetizer which we brought home half and split a Reuben and brought most of the fries home, as well. The Reuben had their in house smoked elk pastrami. It was good but bread could have been toasted more.

Today’s lunch…. The sardines were lightly smoked but didn’t notice. The darker Pacific sardines were more smelt like. I’ll have to read up on them.
I love sardines and those crisp breads too.

I had a hip ablation done this morning then went to the hospital gedunk and got a tuna sandwich and large coffee. No pics.

Actually it’s not. They shoot it up in with lidocaine in two places. The actual treatment was a bit uncomfortable but manageable. I have a bit of an ache right now but not bad.
How can something so ugly taste so good?

Nancy got some canned smoked trout at Trader Joe’s to try. I may have sardines for lunch as well but in olive oil.

I had a good night of no pain. The two hours awake from 0100 to 0300 were a PITA. No pain today and am hopeful. I’m keeping a diary since I’m part of a study. It’s not required but doing it for me.
This particular brand has the pull tab that was hard to open. I thought I was going to rip my fingers lol
I should have gotten a different one, like Bumble Bee or King Arthur.
I don’t like much seafood but I do like Traders Joe’s smoked trout. The cats like it also.

Beach Cliff is common here. They are difficult to open and have to be careful not to cut one’s self.
