Fresh green beans ( 1 Lb Bag )
One can tomato sauce ( 15 oz )
One Medium Yellow Onion ( sliced 1/4 inch thick slices )
Salt ( as desired ) .... ( I used 1 tsp. Kosher )
1/4 tsp Black pepper.
Olive oil. Regular just plain olive oil. ( 1/4 Cup )

In a 4 Qt sauce pan, slowly heat the beans and onions together in the olive oil; turning and stirring till the onions turn soft and translucent..... Add salt pepper and Tomato sauce and ( I rinse the can and add the rinsed also.)
Cover the pan and low simmer the beans till soft enough to your own doneness.
Serve with Italian or French bread.
